Not as many as the 2016 Z06, which will go to build in August 2015.
So, the 2015 late 2014 to early 2015 will have a build period much less than the typical build, like the 2016.

This will be the first time I will not blame the dealers for charging a premium on the 2015 run.

Those who have confirmed orders for MSRP will be enjoying the high cotton

Probably just like the c6z, a ton the first 2-3 years then it will taper off until some sort of refresh comes out or other model.

I think GM learned there isn't room in the market place for two higher performance models when they released the C6 ZR-1 and the bottom fell out of Z06 sales...

I suspect we read the same post. And yes the person has a reputation of credible posts.

550 is seriously low volume. If true, even some of us on wait lists will be disappointed. Time will tell.

Actually, mine was by word of mouth so if there is more than one concurring source there is additional credence.

I tend to agree with the short build period, 16s will be built in greater amounts. Even the inventory manager at my dealership thought along those same lines between 500 ~ 600.

Being very high on the list for MSRP at one of the biggest dealers is making me grin.

I'm in line a handful or so slots behind you with the same dealer, Sean. Let's hope!

Price wii have a whole lot to do with sales. Lots of people will be backing out of there deals. it's the nature of the beast. And again the hype will drizzle as soon as the next hi po comes out. I wonder when this will end. I don't see the economy getting that much better in the near future. Not to many people have a 100 k laying around for a weekend grocery getter, or cruise night thing, just wish I did.

Price will be the big factor. $75-80k for a nicely optioned z06 they will fly off the lot. $100-110k, not so much.
