NY Auto Show Mega Thread....125pix & Harlan Interview & Press Kit download

I guess we can pretty much assume that GM is absolutely committed to having more than 625hp in the Z06 ..... since even the console badge now says: "625+ hp". I don't think the first badges were written that way, they were stamped: 625hp, there was no plus sign.

The dark gray wheels look great on Laguna Blue !
So much better than Chrome.

Turn 12!
Is there a steering wheel option? I noticed that one was in Leather and the other one was in Alcantera.

Great Post Gene!
I was at the autoshow yesterday. These cars are amazing in person especially the C7.R.
Per "Lady Stingray"....Alicia I think, she said the Laguna Blue Vert has a new color interior which is a darker Gray. She said the name but I forgot...sorry. She mentioned the new colors as well, Tiger Shark Gray (Which we know) and the yellow which she didn't have a name for but she stated that the new yellow will be at least a few shades brighter than the Velocity Yellow. I hope it's not too bright as the Velocity Yellow with the black kicks *** in my opinion! I wish they had it there but it will probably be at Carlisle. I read in a few articles that the new yellow will be called "Combat Yellow" but maybe that was just speculation. Either way this car will command attention where ever it goes.
If anyone is within travel distance of the show I would highly recommend it! Gene has a lot of awesome pictures but seeing it in person makes all of the difference!
Great work Gene!!!!

Very well done! The Synergy Green machine caught my eye, very wild for a Corvette color compared to anything I remember in the past. The vert Z06 is much more striking top on (FRC style) or off than the coupe.
This is the Z06 car I have been waiting for since 2005 because even your grandmother will definitely know this time!

First of all "THANK YOU" for sharing all these great photos. Truly beautiful cars. I just want to make 2 points if I may. Did you all notice that GM on all these cars got rid of that God Awful Ugly silver bar in the front grille??? Secondly the other thing I have learned is that if you are going to go with "Black Wheels" (which Iam) you need to add the "Black Gorilla Lug Nuts". The chrome ones just like the silver bar stand out like a "sore thumb".

The grey coupe would look perfect if it had carbon flash mirrors to go with all the other CF.
