well, Gene, you're not alone...
I've always liked the C4s, despite the "grief" the series seems to suffer from re: others' opinions...
many times I almost came close to buying one but never did...
polo green w/saddle interior is still my favorite (liked that combo on the C2s & C3s also; acknowledge
those greens were slightly different).

The C3 production run got very long-in-the tooth, with a few years in the mid-'70's having the feeblest of engines...
the arrival of the C4 series was long overdue, and IMO, represented progress for the Corvette at the time.
The C4s certainly aren't expensive to buy now, but are 30 yrs--17 yrs old already. Suspect many will have lots
of deferred maintenance costs...

I like the C4 GS.
Also like the C4 ZR in silver with black interior.

Right, and wouldn't a 750hp twin turbo factory Corvette deserve the L88 moniker? If GM really has a very nice twin turbo V8 already being developed, they'd be crazy to not tweak it even more, put fully forged/titanium internals (the best stuff), turn up the boost, add rock solid cooling, and charge $150k for this Super Vette. There would be plenty of wealthy people that would scoop it up.

Seriously this time, I heard this from what I consider a very very reputable source even though I think its too early to know anything about an upcoming ZR1, maybe that's what getting tested in that camo'ed Z06 chasing the CTSV. I was also told 750bhp and twin turbo from people in two different continents who have connections within GM.
This might be the perfect candicate for a carbon chassis corvette with a DCT to compete with the million dollar exotics on the track?
So whats the word on the street?

And I heard the new 2016 CTS-V will get this new twin turbo V-8 too
