Why don't they have all the black dash surfaces covered in carbon. It looks silly with some parts (i.e. the HUD control panel) to be in plain black plastic. Same with the area around the cup-holders/ashtray.
Love the suede interior. Glad it's an available option. After experiencing it in my centennial, I will always check off that option box as long as it's available.

I don't know. When I get into my Stingray with carbon fiber dash, nothing looks silly to me. In fact, it looks like one of the best cockpits I've ever owned.

I like the carbon fiber also but think they dropped the ball by not having it on the steering wheel.
I hate the new steering wheel. I hope that will change in the near future.
Not going to happen. It's in the shape of the Stingray. That shape and profile are scattered all around this car. Plan view of the front nose is this shape.

Um, the Z06 does get CF on the steering wheel. No ball has been dropped. If you're talking about the Stingray interior, maybe take that up on the non-Z06 forum?

I realize the specifics around options haven't been released yet but there seems to be people here deep knowledge of the Z06. I know Magnetic suspension and beefed up Z51 components are being included but I haven't heard about CF on the dash or steering wheel.

Yeah, it does. At the bottom. It would have been nice if the "Ray" was also CF. But that's nothing Caravaggio/Apsis/etc can't fix

My guess is that the CF dash would be optional and the CF steering wheel would be standard, but until GM releases the order guide we cannot be certain of these things.
