Not feeling the gold...it reminds me of the 1980's bbs and gotti gold wheel craze.

I have suggestd ever since the c7 was unveiled, that these rims (not in gold) would compliment the c7 lines. Too bad they don't make them without rivets, and that cost for rims alone are $10k. $10-12$k for rims and tires is not a drop in the bucket, well for me anyway, and at some point, it doesn't make sense to invest 10%-20% of purchase price on wheels.

It's far from the worst kit I've seen. However the stock lines on the Porsche are just so good that, other than a good Ruf kit, I feel they're usually a let down. I think it's the contrast of the extra large holes in the body that's throwing me off. That and the clear lenses. I get the look he's going for, but I'm personally not into it. It's certainly not one of those light it on fire body kits though.

Best,
Gene

I'm not sure if that's a kit or the lower portions are just painted white. Also, the clear tails are a Porsche option on the 991 now.
I'm not a fan of the gold on that car. IMO they'd look better in a darker finish.

I would just go with the stock pearl nickel as they are very close.

Those fantastically well made wheels look like absolute crap on the TT IMHO. Do gold wheels look good on anything anymore? Not even sure they look great on the Sti except for sentimental reasons.

I don't hate the gold finish but I too would prefer a dark grey/anthracite.

Now, those riceresque 'altezza' type tail lights on the other hand....

This thread belongs elsewhere......... as in "other cars"

Comparisons with the C7 ZO6 are one thing ....... something this thread is not

I'll just place this here for everyone uncertain about gold rims. This was my favorite Challenge Stradale to drive. They were all a little different.
