C7Z. I always thought the 430 was kind of ugly. The only way I'd go for a 430 is if it's stick as it's the last V8 sports car stick Ferrari. Also, if you asked Scuderia or C7Z that's another question all together.
Best,
Gene

A 2009 for less than 80k? I don't know a lot about the F cars but I would think that would be a good investment? I saw some 06s and 07s going for 130k? Maybe I am missing something?

If you intend to drive the car a few thousand miles a year, you need deep pockets for the Ferrari. Maintenance is often and expensive on them, from what I've seen, costs about $1 per mile to drive. Doesn't sound like much, til you think if you drive it 10k miles in a couple of years, you spend $10k in service! I had a buddy with a 360 Modena flappy paddle, the clutch was well worn and near needing replacement when he sold it, he said it was something like $5k to fix! Just something to think about. Plus if you're a speed freak, the 430 isn't gonna be nearly as fast as a Z. But if you wanna pick up super models, F430 all the way!!!

If he can buy the F car for under 80k he can turn around and sell it for about 140k if it is nice and clean with low miles, So he could make a huge profit for his new Z06 when they come out next year, So a win win.

Agreed. Unless it's a complete mess buy that thing at $80k. Flip it very easy for $100k and you've got yourself a good day.
Price aside, not into it.

Nice, 32k miles, great condition. 430's switched to chain instead of the belt like the 360 a lot more reliable and less costly. Price is so low because he has a lot of cars and etc that he's getting rid of before he has to report in March. Going to spend the money to get it checked out on Tuesday. The wife and kids like it also.

Maintenance not being a issue? You have got to be kidding!!! I've owned a few Ferraris and maintenance is a huge issue. $500.00 Agip oil changes, $200.00 per hour dealer shop time for any little fix. Broken windshield replacement at 3K-5K depending on which model. Outrageous insurance premiums and oh by the way don't put any mileage on it because you'll loose value big time. Ferrari's with 30K-40K on the odometer are tough to get rid of. Nobody wants a high mileage Ferrari. The new ZO6 will walk all over it and the 430 will not even be comparable from a performance or technology perspective. Good luck if you decide to go the Ferrari route. A lot of people buy older ones just to showboat than realize how much that ego stroke cost them.

How about us guys. Come on. Give us a little cred. I did love my F-cars but it is a commitment for many. Did you read the link I gave you ??? That was scary ! I've bought new and it's fine because it's under warranty but out of warranty is a different story.
