Will this be the last Corvette Model ever designed?

Will this be the last Corvette Model ever designed?
If so what do you blame?
I blame The Viper...
And a declining car culture that's been forced upon impressionable youth by a President that plays off our Darkest fears...
And Round Tail Lights...
And JDM dominating with the GTR in the same segment as The Z06 and ZR1
And the economy that the President who plays off our Darkest fears has at least potentially repaired.
And accidents like Paul Walkers scaring off young people from going Fast and Furious
And The Bailout demanding GM stay Frugal.
And America not supporting it's automotive industry.
And Than.... I blame Classic Corvette owners for not upgrading.
And than.... The price of gasoline
And than... The visible fasteners...
And than... The bad press from Corvette owners getting shot by cops in high speed chases
And than The Corvette Club of America weakening the Corvette community as a whole without strong leadership like Lee Stubberfields...
And than it being a car associated with fake wealth and an elderly socially insecure demographic.

Then*
This will be the last one if and only everyone chooses not to buy one.
By the comments of the more seasoned members have shown. This Corvette (C7) was made with them in mind... But yet it was... They balanced reaching for a stronger foot hold in a younger demographic while trying to retain the less stubborn of their previous primary demographic.
Ultimately this speculative type of conversation is pointless, nit picking the car over details such as removable panels instead of unibody is plain asinine.
Enjoy the car for what it is or fear what might not ever be.
I love mine, more than my C5 and more than my C6, the car I getting better and I plan to keep buying them. I like nearly everything most here dislike on the car, but that because I don't like chromed out cruising cars to how off my waist line while performing old school nut swinging.
I want a purpose built car with great torque and grip that will do everything I ask of it and ask for more. When I want to cruise out of town to see friends or goto a car meet or and event I can set my cruise with my A/C and my ventilated seats.
I'm proud if what the car IS and what it can do, not how much it costs or how shiny it is. I want engineers to think of ways to make my car more visceral and not smudge up everything so it looks like it was designed in the 50's or made for someone who lives in the false world your car is held together with nuts and bolts.

Anyone agree Mark Reuss smiles and sounds like the strong dominant type of pedophile with an Ariel Castro style Basement while Ed Welburn tucks his shirt in and has the tonality and body language of an awkward sensual type like Jerry Sandusky? He's like a black gay pedaras MrRodgers... Im shocked their not in charge of marketing sound proof mini vans for GM... No wonder this car has a marketing problem

Thanks to the internet, social media, MMO's , online gaming, and virtual existences as a whole ... the car as a status symbol, as a symbol of independence, as a representation of one's freedom...

I am already seeing stories on the news about the cars being rolled out at the show being the big SUVs and the high performance, high horsepower sports cars...
The fuel efficient hybrids were always a small part of the market, and it appears getting smaller...
Not a Volt or Prius in sight.

I think it important for us old guys to take young people out in our cars regularly and show them the thrill they are missing.
That and encourage the Chinese, Indians and Africans to quit having so many kids, which is the best thing that can be done to reduce hydrocarbon emissions, stop climate change, or reverse any other "problem trends" supposedly "man-made". Fewer people means fewer problems...and more open roads....
