C7 Z06: How will yours be used?
Simple poll to see how you will use your prospective Corvette Z06.
Race option is for people who intend to actually race the car in amatuer to professional race events. Includes Road Course, AutoX, and Drag racing in officially sanctioned race formats. This can include cars run on the street as well.
Track Only option is for those that plan on relegating the Z06 to track duty only but with no intention to actually race in amateur to professional level events.
Street/Track option is for those that plan on using the car primarily on the street with some track time thrown in. Can also include AutoX events not sanctioned by officially sanctioned bodies.
Street Only option is for those who do not plan on running on a race track to include drag strips, road courses, and AutoX events.

A little clarification added to the options. Street/Track can also be used for AutoX events that are not sanctioned by Regional or National level bodies.

I'll use it as I've used all of my Corvettes:
No competitions or sanctioned events. And certainly no street racing, because that's just stupid and idiotic.

- canyon carver
- errand runner
- distance driver

So it's shaping up that the majority of potential owners plan on occasionally tracking their Z06. I know this can't be all the forum goers that are considering this car. I am honestly surprised as the general consensus with many people on this forum believe that the auto would bring more "waxers" to the party. I think with the accessibility of modern track days and AutoX more people are attending these events.
I for one fall in with the "waxer" crowd sometimes and the track rat crowd at other times. I take extremely good care of my toys but I use them at the track when I can. I enjoy the atmosphere of both camps so there's that!

but basically its for pleasure on the street.
many years ago i did the quarter mile track stuff with my other cars i had.
i wouldnt mind a track day just to test it out since i have never did that before but not a pressing thing for me.
