Not impressed physically by the c7z..... Performance wise, instant boner!! When I first saw the c6z, I knew I will have one eventually..... Not so much for the c7z....think I'll be keeping my c6z for awhile , maybe the C8z will impress me! Again, JMHO

What's with the lack lactic on the front wheel wells?

Is that some new styling trend about too release?

The race car doesn't do that soo why does the production z06 do that

The front fender extensions are OK, but I was hoping for unique wider fenders. I believe they did it to utilize the same front fascia and keep costs down. Otherwise the fascias, fenders and hood would all be unique to the Z. I wish they were.

Front fenders "are" wider than the C7 base.

the more I look at the front, the more i think they could have cleaned it up. At the very least, the fender "extenders" could have met the side blades of the front splitter in one flow. I think with the side blades removed from the front splitter, it will look a lot better.

I really don't understand the fender extenders at all though. Why not just make the fenders wide enough to cover the wheels??

Overall though, AMAZING and I want one. Really pissed that cyber grey will not be offered...I love it on the C7. The new grey is bland IMO (at least in picture).

I'm not sure the fender extenders will be on the entry level car or the middle car and I do think the fenders are wide enough to cover without them. At the very least you should be able to remove them...It does look a little ricer with them.

Also I believe the side blades will only be on the Z07 package.

Default front quarter panel side marker light blocked by winglet

appears the designers did not see this coming, certainly appears to be an afterthought.

Sure looks like that front fascia is wider to accommodate the flares on the front fenders to me from looking at those frontal pics.

Thanks for posting Y! I gotta say the more I see of the car that I find myself picking it apart more. Looks a bit over done to me. I think the base Z06 will be just right.... I must be getting old lol

I love the new Z06 and I think GM did a great job of listening to the what customers wanted.

Thanks for posting the pics, that's the closest I'll ever get to a Detroit show from here.
