I just looked on tirerack, there doesn't appear to be any tires besides michelin ps2 and sport cup tires...
No all season or winter tires in these sizes?

Not talking about driving in snow or anything like that.. at least that's not what I meant, heck I bet people would drive it in the snow if they could get the right tires

I would imagine winter tires will become available in similar sizes.
I'd use the car everyday although those spoilers front splitter might shovel a to of snow.

winter options-lol. They'll offer a Ski option too

The only reason why I see this would be important to someone is if they can barely afford this car and it becomes their only source of transportation.

After driving this thing, who would WANT to drive a Civic? I'd like mine to be a daily driver, no matter what the weathers is like. That means, I would like to be able to have tires that are safe. Doesn't mean I'd take it out in a foot of snow, but as said earlier, they are saying summer tires shouldn't be exposed to temps below 40 degrees. I don't want to have to park a car just because it's cold out.

Just keeping a third car around is bothersome....
Owning and driving the corvette everyday is fun.

From the PDF I downloaded from Chevy it says PSS and cup 2's both new tires for us zr .
To deliver the levels of grip needed for the Z06’s performance targets, the Z06 was fitted with larger Michelin tires (Pilot Super Sport tires for the Z06; Sport Cup 2 tires with the Z07 package). The P285/30ZR19 front tires are 1.5 inches wider than the tires on the Stingray, while the 335/25ZR20 rear tires are two inches wider.

Possibly...or it could also be a scenario of not wanting to have $90k sitting unused and depreciating in the garage for 6-7 months of the year because the temp is too low for any tire grip with the oe rubber....

Why keep the OEM size for snow/ice duty? If you absolutely had to drive your Z in snow, get a set of cheap used C6 or C7 wheels and get snow tires with the same overall height as OEM. Problem solved. Or buy a 1992 Honda and call it a day.
