To your point of the "Live Reveal" is the exact reason everyone is rating this as an Epic Fail by GM.

Don't bill a "Live Reveal" worth everyone tuning in and burning 60ish minutes and then deliver a lame a $ $ corporate meeting. I get plenty of that at work as I'm sure does everyone else.

What a WASTE of an opportunity by GM!!!

I agree they wasted an opportunity... but damn. Chevrolet did not have to do that live... it sucked due to the way they built it up in anticipation.. but at least we saw the darn thing uncovered!

Most of the data you want is here. Quit picking on Chevrolet. The reveal is supposed to be dramatic--it was. Most of the specs are in print on the website.

Thanks.

P.S. I need a 'Ring time, and soon, for the Z06 with the RPO Z07 package. THAT is where real bragging rights come from....

Exactly my point. You got to sit in your chair and watch it in warmth and not deal with that crazy city.

LOL.

The Z will be awesome, but the reveal wasn't. When the C7R was introduced the music was so loud I couldn't hear the exhaust note! What were they thinking!

Bootleg website still doesn't work!!!!!!!

FAIL
FAIL
FAIL
FAIL

I'm less excited about the car that I was yesterday, not good. I don't like the side skirts, the front splitter is too busy, the rear spoiler is too busy with rivet holes showing, I don't like the black center hood paint.

Buzz kill to the max.

These are usually IN PERSON ONLY, for the MEDIA.

BE LUCKY YOU EVEN GOT TO SEE IT. Who cares they didnt discuss all the specs on the stream... they are talking with all the media I am sure.. the ones who spread the info like wild fire on the web.....

Geez.

What would be the point in going to a show if they provided amazing coverage online......

I do agree they needed to show more of the car... but oh well... thats what we get for not going there in Person. LOL.
I agree! for some the glass is forever half empty..

Anyone old enough to remember the days when we had to wait three months to get a magazine to even see still photos of new cars..

World of insatiable desires and expectations...

I am sure we will all get more information throughout the day..the week..the year....etc..

Roof off, two transmissions offered....625hp ....faster lap times on the track the first time out than the almighty ZR!!

Personally I am glad to hear there are three levels of aerodownforce to be offered...

Maybe too many wings and spoilers for my taste...but I need to see the car in person before deciding..

McLellan, Perkins and Kramer set the standard with the C4 ZR-1 introduction in Geneva in 1989 ... these bums really wasted my time ... now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

That was dramatic? Yeah, for a second there it felt just like I was watching the series finale of Breaking Bad.

And a 5 year, 100K power train warranty on this mighty engine. Does Porsche offer that on the GT3?

Well, on the one hand, they did manage to turn a reveal of a 625 hp sports car into a snoozefest, which is something of an achievement.

Imagine if Apple had this attitude? I don't think they would be where they are today.

The world has moved on, and GM needs to move with it. Streaming broadcasts are mainstream. The stodgy, old execs at GM need to get with it, and see what the tech companies are doing, the ones that in only a few years have rocketed up to market valuations 10 times that of GM.
