When Corvette Racing transitioned from GT1 to GT2, I recall seeing a GT1 car for sale for $625k on the (I think) Pratt & Miller website. I don't recall if it went to a collector or to an overseas team. Don't forget, several of the cars have wound up in Europe or Asia to run in various GT series over there.

I wonder why the C7.R does not use the rear fender intakes like the C7 and the C6.R do.

Maybe since they're in the new racing series the rear scoops/intakes are prohibited

My guess would be to have max airflow over the rear wing...?
