I am in one of the top spots for a C7 Z at one of the top dealers, so should have a car pretty early in the delivery process (as with my C7 Z51).

Yea my buddy is selling his gtr to buy a c7 zo6 as well. He has several nice cars including a 2013 viper ford gt and many others. I talked him into a c6zo6 and he loves it to death. all those other cars sit and just put a nasty cam in his z. really says something aobut the vette if you think aobut it.

This is awesome. It looks great. And more amazing is the jump in power. The C6Z had 505 HP and this supposedly will be around 620. That's quite a jump. Amazing effort by GM.

Snorman (and any others)...although I turned 58 in August, please be aware, I am available for adoption as needed. I clean up after myself and have been described as "drives well with others" (though that may not necessarily apply at the track.)

If its truly supercharged, which it appears to be I don't know how they are keeping it under 600. And his comment about "a fast rock", I would think leans towards sarcasm, but who knows.

And ultimately, who gives a rats ****, the car is amazing. If its as good as a platform as the C7 the aftermarket will take care of the rest.

effort? what effort? 638 in the zr1... all they did is figured out they could just supercharge the z06 and get zr1 power... I'm telling you the new z06 scream zr1 rebadge and gm not using the zr1 badge.... or the zr1 will be just another power up option, like Porsche does it with the Turbo and Turbo S....

Exactly what Mirage2991 said. Congrats GM on being behind Dodge and Ford in HP. I guess you can say it positive and say top 3 but when Dodge and a friggin Mustang have more power, it is very dissapointing.

Fire some engineers for putting a Z06 badge on last years ZR1. What a joke.
