He probably just thought that since other embargos on cars were lifted tonight that the Z06 would be as well.

Had a good source that it was supposed to be lifted last night at 12.01.

Woke up and nothing....

I'll be eating a lot of crow today.

Sorry guys....


I'll post up my source later on today if possible on video so you know I wasn't just BS ing you guys.

I found this "lifting of the embargo" topic on another forum. Very interesting...

"Many of the top auto media were invited to a GM briefing on the Z06 last week, with a conditional embargo they "agreed to," to not release the Z06 info until a specific date (believe that is just after midnight, Monday, January 13th. -- the day the Z06 and the C7.R will be released at NAIAS). Either Edmonds.com speculated about the motor being supercharged, that Edmunds.com choose not to attend, or someone "spoke out of turn," or ?"
