If they could develop this with the ability to use as a conventional dash cam, it would sell even better as a multi use option. Using a larger 64gb card, parking mode with motion detection while car is parked, interface with i-phone or droid phones for security viewing. Heat generation could be a issue and night vision ability would be critical. It's already very cool but could really become a must have option if combined both performance data and conventional dash cam tech.

I think this really shows Chevy's commitment to the Corvette being a top notch track car for amateur drivers. I don't know of any other manufacturer with this level of commitment.
