I doubt it.

Let's think. C5zo6 405 c6 z06 505 zr1 638 . Is 728 that hard to imagine? It's blown. 7ltr? Not hard to pull 90 more ponies out of a zr1.... I'm just tellin u what I was reluctantly told.

Not likely.

If team Corvette is planning on a C7 ZR1 model in the future, then I would think the C7 Z06 would have
about a 100--125 hp increase over its C6 counterpart. This would leave room for yet another 100 hp later on...
(not talking about engine capability--strictly marketing & product placement niche)

I suppose it could be true if the LT4 is slated for the ZR, and the Z will have an NA engine slotted in underneath it.
My only struggle with that is, we've seen pics of the LT4 for a while. It's ready to go. And no info leaked on a 550-600 hp NA mill. Plus the speculation of a ZR down the road with TT.
OP, on the other hand, it would be fairly straightforward to pull 90 hp more than an LS9 with the benefit of DI. And maybe there won't be a ZR. Or maybe there will be a ZR but when it debuts with TT they'll drop the Z.
And maybe my taxes will go down in the future as the govt begins to spend less than its revenues.
In a month we'll know.

That would be crazy. I'd have a hard time believing it though.

We'll know in a month, but I have my doubts that the Z06 version will have that much more hp than the base C7.

That would be bat **** insane, but I really don't think you are gonna see that kind of a bump in hp. That's approaching 300 hp difference in models. No way.

I would love to see the crazy TM they'd have to factory load in to a C7Z with 728 engine HP. That is just a crazy amount of HP for such a light 2WD only car..
I'd still own one though.

Scraping the splitter.
Look at what A&A and LMR just got out of FI LT1's for a partial answer.
When you figure in the durability, drivability, emissions standards that the OEM has to meet they can't compare to AM numbers.
