Worried about one thing

I have been saying all along that I hope they change enough panels from the base C7 that it makes it absolutely cost prohibitive to change out panels and clone. The Z should be a stand alone body style along with being the top dog performer. I'm in for that Z provided they do some of these things right.
Oh that and getting reliable valves this time and maybe actually standing behind their mistake? That would be nice. So I'm watching close this time and taking my time.

I too would like to see a more differentiated look between the models. And I would also like to see some Z06 exclusive colors.

It would be nice if it was like the old days and the only difference you would see is a badge of some sort. The differentiation comes when the Z runs away from the base car.

Z06 needs to be in the $80k range or I'm back to the Nissan and Porsche lots.
Here here. Big brakes, bigger wheels, same bodywork ---would all be good to me.

Then why bother? Z06 is about performance.

That won't change, it would cost to much, I do hope they don't make so many models this time around, it does water the brand down, no matter what anyone wants to admit.
The last special GS was a C4 model, it was limited in quantity was much quicker than the base model with its lt4 rated at 330 but put down the same rwhp numbers as the base C5 did) and are one of the few vettes that still go for a good buck.
If Chevy is smart they will keep the models at a minimum this time, the C6 had way to many models add that with it just being a C5 makeover didn't help that car.
C7 is a game changer.

It's been a looong time since I owned a C4, but if I remember right, all the 96 manual C4s had the LT4, not just the GS, so it wasn't all that special or faster than the base.
