We are considering a Carbon Flash option, actually running some test. Some 5 kits have been made to date... they look awesome.

We no longer do in house base /clear painting, so this does entail a third party vendor. Until we are 100% confident about the process we won't be offering it.

My suggestion is to have a local dealer or custom shop do the paint until we complete our study.

Customer feedback and images on our ACS-C7 Aero Package posted on our FB page by Josh.

I got everything lined up and getting ready to take it off and to spray paint it. I just wanted to send you a couple of pictures before and then I'll shoot some after. It took me less than 3 minutes to install the front splitter and about the same for the sides. It was probably one of the fastest easiest parts I have ever installed, everything lined up great. I do have a air ratchet so it really seems to have saved me a lot of time. I think this kit looks 50 times better in person than in pictures, you can get more of the depths of things and see how it shapes to the car much more in person. Thank you for everything i will send more pictures once I'm done."

Saw that they now offer the Carbon Flash option for an extra $249 on the splitter and $99 on the side deflectors. A little pricey for such small items, especially if ordering them together, they could be painted at the same time. Most places seem to add $100 to $150 extra for paint. But as a matter of convenience and not wanting to have to mount it, take it off, go find somewhere to have it painted myself, then remount it, I went ahead an ordered it and paid the premium. Looking forward to getting it, ready to mount.

Big fan of Nascar/Jeff Gordon.
All black kind of hid the design of the spoiler.
Wanted to see how the yellow would highlight the black spoiler.
It is PlastiDip for now..also wanted to see how much weathering
the leading edge would get.. and figured the rubber would do that.
Once the PlastiDip gets worn I will MOST likely paint
permanent yellow edge with an overlay of the yellow PlastiDip.

Do holes need to be drilled into the lower side of the car like the RPI skirts?

You can, but it's not necessary. you can use the existing hardware and two sided 3M tape if you don't want any extra holes.

Check out this thread for info on installing, drilling, etc. As you can see, it's not required if you'd rather use tape, etc.

If you were to remove the skirts, the holes circled in red wouldn't be visible at all, not sure about the ones circled in yellow.

Local paint shop quoted me $450. Or you can buy 3 cans of carbon flash metallic & 3 cans of clear cost for about $89.
