Replacement Shocks for Z51?
Need to replace the shocks on my 2014 Z51 and wanted to know which shocks you guys went with for replacements. Thanks so much!

Was just a thought based on price but I'm totally fine replacing with mag-ride shocks. Are the OEM mag-ride shocks the go-to replacements or is there another comparable quality or better shock one could consider? Thanks

What would you guys recommend for a NON magride z51?

I am good with OEM but is there somewhere else besides the dealer you could get them from?

Initially when I upgraded my non Mag Ride Z51 shocks I went with Johnny O'Connell from AFE. They were amazing compared to the OEM. I have since gone over to the AFE Featherlite Coil Overs.

If you have Mag Ride and want to go conventional, there are 'dongles' that plug into the Mag Ride cables to alleviate any codes being thrown.
In my case, I wanted to upgrade my FE1 suspension to something resembling Z51 handling. I went with Z51 shocks, purchased new from an eBay vendor, then added front and rear sway bars (wanted to go with OEM Z51 bars, but the front bar has been on back order for months with no apparent end in sight) so I purchased Hotchkis bars. They claim to be stiffer than Z06 bars, but the rear is adjustable. I'm very happy with the setup. Drove a 750 mile round trip this past week and the difference between stock and now is very noticeable. Firm, controlled but not so stiff that its jittery.
