Default Will 3.55 tires fit the rear of my GS?

I’m running Continental Extreme Contact tires. I’ve never owned such incredible tires. I can’t wear them out for one. I have Cray wheels. Continental makes 3:35 and 3:55 tires but not 3:45 like I need. I’m running 3:35 and was told they’re too small. Will a 3:55 fit the rear of my GS? Would it go past the fender lip?

Whats the colon for? It's not a ratio. 355 width will fit yes, but what size are they? 19? 20? I wouldn't be positive on 20s but the 355 19 inch viper tires fit the widebodies.

I wouldn’t do 355 on a 20 inch tire. My dad has 345s and they rub real bad. His is lowered on the stock bolts though.

.

I broke 2 rear fenders on my lowered C6 with 345. In fact, I have a new one leftover. Takers? My C7 is stock height. Maybe I get away with it.

. I think I was thinking rear end gears. Thanks for the correction.

Assuming you know the width of your wheels... (of course, if they rub or not is another issue based on varied factors) All the best.

Who says they are too small? I run the 325/30 on a 19x12.5" rear wheel on my GS.

Regarding your idea of a 355. There isn't a 355 continental in a 20" wheel. You'd have to drop to a 19" if you want to do that.

Additionally a 355 is likely a bit too wide and will be pinched.

And this is why I retired. Didn’t notice the 19 and forgot the rear is 20 inch. My tuner noticed the tire was rolled in above the rim lip. It looks ok to me, but he sees C7’s all day long. That’s why I asked the question. I think it would pinch or touch the edge of the fender too. I’ll stick with the 335’s. There’s nothing to protect against curb rash and mine are screwed up. Thanks for your answers….

This chart is all that accurate, stock the C7 GS/Z have a 12" wide rear wheel and come with a 335 tire from the factory.

My rear rims are 12.5 wide x 20 with 335 tires. Looks like 335 is the best I can do.

325 and 345 would also work on that wheel.
