TPMS sensors needed for drag wheels?

I have run them on several C7.
No Problem other than warning light and can not
turn off Stabilitrack

Are you planning on driving your car to the track? If your trailering and just drag racing you will probably be ok. I ran no sensors in my Camaro for several seasons with no issues, you have to drive about 10 miles or more for the light to come on. Making 1/4 mile passes and then shutting the car off after each pass won't cause the light to come on. If you are driving to the track I'd get a set of sensors for the drag wheels. You can do the adaptive relearn on the way to the track and you'll be fine.

I've found that if you take your street tires/wheels off and put your drag radials on without sensors then load it on the trailer and make a 1/4 mile pass and then another and another you shouldn't get a code. Its probably got something to do with key cycles. If you do drive it more then say 10 miles without shutting the car off you will probably get the dreaded service TPMS system. There is no other alternative that I'm aware of. Now I was told that if you have some sensors close to the rear wheel wells they may get picked up by the TPMS system but I don't know that for sure as I haven't tried it. I'm racing this weekend so I will let you know if it works in the Corvette like it did in my Camaro. I hope it does.

I was at the track for 3 days, driving around the pits, making passes down the track with sensors in the front wheels and none in the rears with no issues.
