Default PDR won’t work

I bought a new 64 gb class 10 sd card for my 19 z06. First time I’ve tried to use it. I plugged it in the glove box card slot but it just keeps saying sd card not inserted. I’ve taken it in and out several times but always the same. Anyone know if I’m doing something wrong?

I had to try 3 different ones before I found one that worked, the little micro sd that have the adapter that goes into the car will not work, I tried a few of those..

Needs to be in FAT32 format. 64GB cards need to be formated to FAT32. Do a google search to find out how to do it to your card.

You can get free software to format cards larger than 32GB as FAT32.
Here is one such example:
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/fat32format.htm
(Don't click the green buttons on this website, they are ads. Click on the links in the article itself)

FAT32 has a file size limitation of 4GB, which is about 1 hour and 39 minutes of PDR recording time.
The system does not tell you when the limit has been reached, so be aware if you are on a long trip
and you want the PDR to record all of the trip.

Cards larger than 32 GB are not formatted to FAT 32 that is why they need to be reformatted. Be careful which software you use to do the reformatting. I can't remember which package I used but my 64 GB card didn't work at all after the software got done with it. Luckily, Best Buy let me return it.

I'm actually running a micro sd with adapter, has to be formatted first.

Maybe that’s the issue I had and didn’t even know it!
