C7 ZR1 exhaust cooling deflector plates
Does anybody know the GM Part #(s) for the C7 ZR1 Exhaust Cooling Hardware Deflector Plates that attached to the chassis stiffener plate to draw air up and around the stock exhaust for Track Use? The GM.com "Track Event & Competitive Driving Document" ID: 4849546 mentions them but I cannot find them anywhere, Thanks.

The part number you are looking for is 84509968. I have recently put them on my 2015 Z51. Will it make a difference in exhaust temps? who knows but can't hurt.
Here are some pics:

I don't know what they cost but there is certainly nothing there that one couldn't readily fab.
Great pix, btw. Thanks.

Just to follow up on my previous comment about do these parts help with exhaust temps. At VIR this weekend running the North Course on Friday. The drivers side AFM actuator failed. So....if you are thinking of installing these in hopes of providing enough cooling to prevent the AFM actuator from failing....don't to it. I have had 3 previous failures of the actuators but none since I began switching to manual mode at the checkered flag at Oak Tree and cooled the car down by lapping the paddock and beyond. So, what was different this time? no long straight to cool the car down. My car is a 2015 Z51, we also had failures on a 2016 Z51, and a 2017 GS. All on Friday running the North Course.

I'd say fab your own up an maybe make the lip a little bigger on the angled brackets, they more than likely cause a vacuum to vent hot air from the top side of the tunnel cover.

Only exhaust "cooling" mod you want to do, is wrap the axleback exhaust around the transmission. It will do wonders for trans temperatures on track.

A quality coating of high temperature ceramic will greatly reduce to radiated heat from any exhaust component and offer superior protection from the elements at the same time.

C7 ZR1 exhaust cooling deflector plates
I have the exhaust cooling deflector plates that I received when I purchased my ZR1 and do not intend to use them.
If anyone wants to purchase the kit I would be interested in selling them. Could the kit be worth $120.00 shipped?

Frankly I doubt that any of us mere mortals need them. Nonetheless, since GM took the time to develop and test them I figured “why not?”
