This picture shows the mounting tab after it's been trimmed to fit. As you can see, it's a very small cut, and I just needed it to clear that plug on the A/C line:
Looks like it might be specific to my car or my MY (2019); I'm sure you'd quickly figure out if you need to trim it it not, once you start fiddling with it.

I tried quite a bit before I cut that little piece of plastic, but it just didn't clear. If that plug on the hard line was rotated just a tad bit more, or tapped on the line just a little bit back, it would easily clear. Perhaps that's the difference on your car. In any case, I think it's good to point out what might not clear, so others would be aware of it.

You know. Now that I think about cooling more and more. Why does LG split the charge air heat exchanger rather than keep the stock one in place. Make one of the sides an aux intercooler and the other side an aux radiator. That's what the Zl1 does, that's what the amg gts does.
Keeping the stock heat exchanger keeps the ability to flow air through the heat exchanger with the fan while driving at speeds below 35 mph.
With the secondary radiator you get 3 radiators, 2 heat exchangers. Should be plenty. Or make the oem aux radiator an oil cooler as they have done.
I am going the LG route anyhow but I might just customize one side to be a radiator (or perhaps oil cooler)

I see #84448529 referred to as a 2018 part from the GM parts suppliers. But that is the correct number for the 2+" radiator, right?
Also, is this Z06-only? Or would a 2019 A8GS also have it?
Thanks.

These are not always correct, but I'd think GS Auto likely came with it as well, starting 2018.
I don't think there's anything special about Z06 for the radiator space. It should fit any C7? It should definitely fit a Z51 in my opinion, though try it at your own risk : )

I see it listed for Grand Sport as well here:

For those who have installed it, Any impressions for how much better cooling it provides?
Except for the much more reasonable price, any thought comparing this to a Dewitt or Ron Davis?

Have you noticed lower temps on track?

I did install this radiator as a preemptive measure. I never overheated during any events I've attended, but I hit ~235 degrees F coolant and 280 degrees F oil, pretty hot (at 85 degrees F ambient). I should note, though, I drive the Z06 very similar to my Z51, and stay at 2nd gear all the time.
I will receive DeWitts' larger aux radiator cooler next week, and I intend to attend a track day in very similar conditions (same track, 85 degees F expected) on July 13th. We'll see if it makes any (good) impact on last time's temps. If the coolant can stabilize at 220 degrees F or so even at ~85 degrees F, I'd be happy camper.

X - Did you see any "WYAIT" for this work? While you were in there - replace X, Y, or take the opportunity to upgrade Z.

More like WYWIT perhaps? : )
- I suppose it'd be easy to install AUX cooler, too, if you don't have it already, but other than that, this one is pretty straightforward.
- You could also do the PS cooling mod, while in there: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...2016-1271.html

Just ordered the kit from Cultrag, I tried piecing it together off eBay an was within a few bucks of Cultrag's price so for 60 bucks I got a good mod that will help at the track.
