I think the run flats on these low profiles are really tricky, even for the experienced tire guys. I had the manager of my local Discount Tire unmount and remount mine because I was getting the wheels powder coated.

He did not seem to have to struggle with it, or muscle it, and they seemed to go on smooth. I was impressed - for a minute. Low and behold his machine sliced the bead in one tire and cut the sidewalls on others. Talk about being pissed...

My Discount Tire unmounted my stockers and put the tires on some new wheels with no problems.

The clowns at Firestone cut the bead on my C6 tire when I had it.

It comes down to experience. Fortunately, they paid for a new one, but talk about a pain in the *** being without a car and having to wait on one to come in.

A small local tire shop was able to mount my Z06 front tire using "plant air thru the valve stem". Maybe mention this technique next time.

you have to reverse mount them! Deal with this everyday!

I went thru this. It's a learning experience for each shop. Ideally, you need to find a good shop that's already done it. You don't want to be somebody's guinea pig. And, yes, the Hunter tire machine mentioned above is a big plus.
Where are you located? If in the SF Bay Area, I can recommend a couple places.

Yes - as stated above - Hunter Revolution machine takes all the issues out of mounting low profile, run-flats. Few shops have them.... Combine this with a 'Road Force' balancing and you will have a good wheel / tire package.
