Default Which trans cooler for non Z51 A8?

Went to the track today and after a few runs the trans temps were at 220 and the car began to flare some shifts after hard launches. Could be cavitation also but want to get the trans temps down so we can do some racing this summer when the heat really hits.

Has anyone installed a trans cooler on a base A8 car and if so what setup did you run?

I run the stock one in my car never had any issues with trans temps. If you have tuned the Trans may want to look at lowering the RPMs on shift points.

Here is what I have done to my 2015 Z51 A8. I installed the Z06 quarter panel vent scoops, installed the Z06 front grill and replaced the stock transmission cooler with a much larger one from LG motor sports.

8 track sessions with The Drivers Edge group at MSR Houston. Ambient temps 68-82 degrees. Here are the stats directly from the PRD and toolbox. I paddle shifted and the transmission performed flawlessly all weekend. Based on the stock performance I saw a 20 to 35 f drop in transmission temp even though the ambient temp was much higher.
