You can go here to see if there is anything new for your car without signing up.
Not sure how up to date it is but I have used it in the past.

I noticed that there is a torque lite for free or the pro for $5. I think I will get the pro, but what is the difference. Also, do you have to be connected to the Internet to use torque? I like to use my iPad..,easier to read and type on than iPhone.

Not sure , i use the Pro version, its cheap enough. I can data log with it too if needed. Not necessary to connect to internet, unless you want to add some add ins. I have not done that

Problem with the Elm tools and cell phone software is it doesn't access anything but power train codes. Not as useful for debugging a problem since it can't issue commands or see about 45% of the codes that can exist on the car. On new cars most of the problems aren't powertrain problems.

I can't find the Torque Pro on the app store for my iPhone.
Does it work on an iPhone?

So I am getting familiar with Corvettes. I am interested to have a tool with full capabilities including diagnosis so on this case looks like MDI or J2534 is required and GDS2 software that can be download after subscription ( 3 days ). Does the GDS2 will expire after 3 days? What else the subscription provide?
Regarding service manual what is the best option to have them? I read on ACDelco something called GMSi but that requires subscription and really expensive. I just need C7 manuals not the whole GM portfolio.

I'm looking at the Blue Driver when my 2014 warranty expires. It is only $100 and works thru the iPhone. https://www.lemurmonitors.com/ Check out their site, it will tell you all the codes and monitors.
