Default Aftermarket rims

I am considering purchasing a new set of wheels and tires for my Z51. The stock rears are 285's. Has anyone added new wheels to their 2014 and if so how wide did you go. What is the widest rims and tires one can add without rubbing issues. What offsets would be best for a wider rim ?

i am running 11.5 inch rears with a +83mm offset and 325 tires.

lots of wheel options but most of them will stick out of your fender, which is unacceptable to me.....

the stock wheel is 10 inch with +79 offset.

you can compare sizes and fitments at http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

personally, I think the perfect size would be an 11 inch wheel +80mm and a 305 tire. mine fit, but they are stuffed in there. now, if you don't mind it sticking out some, then your options open up.

Higgs if you don't mind could you please post a quick cell phone picture of what you mean by "stuffed in there"? I am kicking around wheel ideas and this information is like gold!

Thanks!

They are basically totally flush with my fender and need a full -1.0 or more camber to clear when the suspension compresses. On the inside, if I jack the car up the wheel will hit the upper suspension so I have to jack the car up by the lower control arm, remove the wheel, then finish jacking up the car.

That's pretty stuffed in there.....I'll take pics tonight if I can get it washed....its dirty.

Which All Season Michelins will fit on the Z51 HREs that are 19x9.5 and 20x11 flow forms (shown in avatar)? Can I run 305s in the rear without rubbing?

Yes, I had the flow forms on my car for the HRE photo shoot with 305's on the rear and there was no rubbing. I drive from my shop to the beach on canyon roads and had no issues. I had Pirelli Pzero tires and the ride was a little smoother then the run flats but they seem a little noisier.

I have a set of PUR wheels with 12.5" rears on my C7 with Pirelli 375s that had to have the brake duct removed

As well as a set of Forgeline wheels with 11" rears on them for the drag strip with M&H 325s
