We have been using the A&A kits with great success. Heres one we did with only engine mods are headers and a supercharger.

What is the typical weight gain in these SC installations? Any noted changes to ride and handling?

I've installed a procharger on a new C7 Z51 Auto. I thought it was a very simple install, should take 10 hours or so.
Which ever kit you go with, I'd recommend NOT going with long tube headers. You will get an increase noise/vibration from DI and AFM and a loss in boost/hp unless you opt for a smaller pulley.

Think there are a few folk who have gone with LTs in combo with their S/ C sytem.

You may lose boost pressure, but due a the reduction in back pressure it would not be a loss of any airflow. Airflow is what you're after, boost is just a method people use to measure forced induction airflow.

Wow...hope rhe issues you raise regarding Long Tubes are not true as that combo is going on my vehicle. How substantially different is the loss in boost/hp and noise/vibration vs shorties?

I has been mentioned time and time again in here, and confirmed by shops as well, that besides for the sound factor, long tube headers add very little power at moderate boost levels (7 - 9 PSI). Now if you add boost, cam, meth, and say over 13 pounds of boost, then long tube headers will make a difference power wise, as the stock manifolds may be a bottle neck/restriction at higher power levels.

Well, the NPP is now going to be standard with the Z51 package. So no choice regarding the NPP, if you want the Z51 from this moment on forwards. However, you also have to factor in installation for headers. So you have $1200 for the NPP compared to around $2500 installed for headers (plus tune needed as well; so another $500.00 or so (3K total), if not supercharging - tune needed anyways).

My supercharger is in, tuned, and amazing. It took time and I was impatient with the tune issues from Edelbrock but I must say Grabiak did one heck of a job, it's amazing. It's beyond my expectations I must recall my negative comments about the Edelbrock system. My son in law has an SLP on his Camaro and it's nice but not in the realm of this. I'm absolutely satisfied and thanks to the Edelbrock guy that emailed me and helped, I owe you a beer.

Boost is a measurement of resistance.
A devices ability to flow air is not directly representative of the amount of "boost" one would have.
CFM when related to Air flow in this application is more complicated to know in most setups but is what really represents the amount of potential power one can make.
