Off she goes to Vengeance....
Finally had a bright and sunny day to get it loaded on. Truck is headed down to VR directly.
Take good care of her, guys!
Has a '66 GTO and '40 Ford as riding companions in there.
In case anybody is into classics - nearly all-original (down to the tires, somehow):

New rubber, etc. to match so I can get traction - at under 600 I can't even keep the stock rubber in 4th.
Very true. Have not driven it for the last several weeks as it is, so a few more won't kill me.

Ron, David, Kevin, and Mike have put up with a lot of my crap over the last several months - I have nothing but full confidence in them.
Ron wouldn't sell me his pistons, though....

Right now I'm putting down around 590/560. New upgrades (cam, meth, pulley, etc) and tuning should yield right around 750/700 based on recent (near-identical) builds.

You going with heads even with FI? I know I had that debate thread going, but I just couldn't justify it for the cost of everything.
Are you doing it 'just because'? I still have that reason floating around in my head, trust me.

More of the just because at this point. Theoretically better airflow should be a positive for the build overall. I think LMR is trying to push me over the edge on the heads and cam.

The temptation comes from having to do the job anyway during the cam install, so labor becomes a non-issue...
Just so much debate on the need, and for that kind of cash, there are other parts for the car I could use that on... Decisions, decisions.

At the end of the day it has to move forward not sideways. So I hear you on that. Tires and rims comes to mind

Already got that covered with Crays and 888s (they're doing that down there) - if you haven't done the wheels/tires yet, that's your next step for sure. Don't want you going off the road with the extra power.

That's the plan. Kind of waiting for all the fallout to settle down (bad cars, engine issues, etc) - you know how that goes now, unfortunately.
Seems like I have a good one - just hoping to keep it going reliably for a long time.

Former Vendor
I just laid eyes on the wheels today when I went to pick up some customer wheels... and OMG do they look amazing!

I love nice wheels, but I have limits...
