Drag pack pics (w/GP pricing) and videos from the track last night....She moves!
Finished up the drag pack setup yesterday. We were the test fit vehicle for Race Star, so the offset on mine is different from what the offset on the production C7 drag pack will look like. Mine has an aggressive look, but their production C7 specific wheels will tuck like they should! Great package for the money, and I'm direct with them now so we're selling the first 10 sets for 10% off retail! Which means they will be only 1292.22 + 100 shipping to anywhere in the US. If you want a set, let me know!
As for the track last night. I got her to do an 11.39 @ 124 spinning off the line w/ a 1.9x 60' time. The drag radials are brand new, so last night was mostly to break them in and get a few shake down runs under my belt. I'm going to a Texas Speed Syndicate track event next Saturday, so I'll be able to dial in my launch a little better next weekend. For now though, I'm pretty happy with the results...

Absolutely! For the same MT setup I have, 305/35/18 ET Street Radial II in the back and 26x6 Radial Runner in the front, figure an extra 1371.40 mounted and balanced, and another 80 in shipping. So 2843.62 shipped to your door ready to go racing.

I made those videos at 2 in the morning, and honestly don't even know which slip goes to which video, so just posted the best one. Here's a picture of all the slips. I was playing around w/ launch control and different launch methods. So it was pretty inconsistent. Next sunday I will hopefully get her dialed down. Going to also try running a 28" tired to hopefully be able to hold 3rd gear all the way to the traps.

I like the look of these !
So let's say the track is 50-60 miles from my house. Can I drive it there with the skinny tires on the front ?
I'm assuming yes but I will admit my ignorance having never had a drag setup for any of my corvettes

yes. you will just have less traction at the limits with less tire up front. you will notice if you corner hard or hit the brakes hard. understeer and abs.

Yep, basically what Higgs said. The tires are totally street legal, but don't expect a lot of life out of them if you drive them on the street Best to just leave them as a track only setup

It was incredibly horrible weather, so 16xx sounds about right. Yes, Houston area. Went out to Baytown. Royal Purple Raceway.

100mph in the 1/8 is strong given the DA. That 28" might be enough to go through the traps in 3rd and stay off the limiter if it's at 7300rpm with Z51 gearing, but it'll also hurt you even more as far as gearing and rolling weight offsetting the extra shift. I'd consider a lighter/shorter Hoosier 315/30r18 instead, looking forward to new times whichever way you decide to go.

Any issues with torque management or whatever it is these days hindering a good launch? I remember ECS doing early testing with their blower manual car stating there was lots more tuning to be done to get the car to stop intervening.
