Your not alone, although my reasoning is based on what I discovered from fleet experience with "oil based" filter (oil base) filter being used on engines. With high HP engine, it is not ideal (lab test). Hence dry filter for me.

Eventually I'll get one of these so I hope I'll be able to find this thread again when I go to install it. I noticed everyone talking about the slippery rubber. Why didn't anyone clean the mating surfaces or rough them up a little?

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Has anyone measured the before and after RWHP with these intakes? I was looking to pick up one, but saw this video and was concerned.
