Can't wait to see this! When the tune is released, do we simply plug in the device, update it, and when we go to install the tune, it will give the option of AFE tune? Do I have to return the vehicle to stock before writing this new tune?

yes turn car back to stock, then go to laptop, upload, wait 4 min then set your new tune... so easy last time I had my 7 yr old update it for me....... very simple. thanks mike really looking forward to this hey would it be possible to disable "DOD" only on sport and track, would be killer, wish GM did that for us A6 guys, the A8 guys will want it too.

Excellent Mike! Car runs very well with the standard 93 tune but only put a few miles on it. I'm sure the AFE tune will put the icing on the cake.
Throttle mods and shift calibrations have already made it more than worthwhile..

OK, results are in

Car was run with the stock tune, then tuned for optimal performance with the CAI.
Gains were +20 rwhp and +17 ft-lbs over the stock tune with the intake installed

Enjoy:

So about what people are seeing with a tune only?

If you look at it like that, sure.

This is going from a stock (unoptimized) tune with the CAI to an optimized tune for the CAI.

What are your thoughts on stock w/Diablo tune vs. stock + AFE intake w/AFE-specific Diablo tune? Would it be possible to see a dyno chart overlay of the various setups? The tune seems like a must no matter the setup, just deciding if the AFE intake is a good move. I'm guessing this car had a stock throttle body and not a ported unit? Thank you!

I don't have stock data from this car, but it baselined strong, likely due to the CAI.

No, we didn't have a whole lot of time for info gathering, but the final tune here was very similar to the 93 tune with some correction for the AFR.

I'm sure it won't be long before someone shares results of before/after, and I'd prefer to see it 3rd party anyhow

Will I feel a little bit of improvement going from the Diablo 93 tune to the CAI Tune? Looking forward to installing this! When do you anticipate this will be available to update for out handheld devices?

id expect some drivability and power improvements with the MAF being dialed in properly.
