We tried turning it up more but ran into belt slip issues due to it only being a 8rib setup.

Makes sense.. Anything under a 3" pulley is gonna slip on a 8 rib. Did you try modifying that A&A supplied spring tensioner to reduce flex? I know Andy sells them already modified but you guys do some pretty good fab work so I wouldnt imagine it would be to hard for you to take the play out of the shaft and mill down the back/weld a 1/2" plate to it.

Get a 8" 10 Rib crank pulley on that turd with a 2.75" upper and let it eat!

This one has a 2.85" pulley with no signs of slip yet with the supplied Innovators West lower balancer.

Thats really good to know... How long is the belt with that kit? Shorter than a direct driven LSx?

I'll bet! I figured you'd need to go to a cog drive if 10 wasn't cutting it - glad to see it's doing well for you.

Cog drive would be fun but we are going to switch to twins instead here in a month or so and shoot for 1300+!

Oh, an sorry to hear about your loss Sean. My condolences.

We have our prototype CV axles installed and weather permitting will try and hit the 1/4 mile this weekend.
