That's very good of you to return the deposits until the product is closer to completion.
Too many companies (with a single recent example standing out) would keep the money and put it toward that development cost while keeping the customer waiting.
That's a stand up move on your part.

To be fair, it was more of an educated guess.
The Airaid filter flows 220cfm, while the stock flows 100cfm (confirmed).
I was ballparking your current filter at around 140, which led me to the other percentage by adding an additional 110 (84pct increase over 140).

No apology required. I had not seen those numbers.
The +84cfm is 671cfm vs. 587.5 cfm for our current filter, (which has had all the testing done on it to date). The race filter is a bit of overkill, but for the 565HP+ crowd, it should provide a few more ponies.
The dry synthetic filter did 399cfm.
All of the drop in style filters are not going to make much difference on the stock engine, and will be too restrictive on the builds with more flow demand.
The Stinger-R671 filter is now available, but will not be necessary on the stock LT1 for max power. It made 1 HP more on the chassis dyno than our base filter, which was what one pull varied from another anyway. The demand for lower restriction is just not there on the stock motor.
I am pretty certain Katech has been using the R671 on their engine dyno tests from the beginning. They are closing in on 600 HP for their cam, heads, and engine dyno headers, and Halltech StingerCKN package.

I realize now that the testing that Airaid posted is somewhat invalid for comparison here since they're basing the numbers on a different baseline.
Still, if the dry synthetic filter did 399cfm, that still makes me wonder what the OE would end up turning in on that test. By virtue of the other test results (increase of 220% to 220cfm on that bench), we could just take a stab and say the OE may flow somewhere in the 240-range on your bench.
That would equate to nearly 300% @ 671cfm. Regardless, huge, huge increases in flow here no matter how you slice it.

Please note, this was the very first part out of our new mold. They will look much better this week, and will be in Nylon. We will have the street version, which will feature Parity Long Term Fuel Trims, so that no type of tuning will be needed for +14 RWHP/9lb-ft, or the race version which is identical to our StingerCKN and produces the same horsepower. The race version under-reports airflow so that the tuner can work with leaner mixes and dial in their best power ratio on the dyno.

I feel the pain. I have been using 3d printing trying to save some money but it all adds up in the end. There will be a Mamba at some point but I keep getting to complicated with it. Just not as easy as the C6 was. Yours looks really good. We may have to start selling yours since I have no real time frame of when I am even going to be close to being finished. If you don't have an issue with Zip selling yours give me a call this week and we can set it up.

Uhm, just because it’s posted doesn’t make it so, or confirmed for that matter.
A simple calculation will tell you that a LT1 needs ~ 600 CFM to make what it does…
CID = engine displacement in cubic inches or in^3
VE = Volumetric efficiency 0.85ish (85%-ish) is safe guess for NA
RPM / 2, because we have 4-stroke
1728 = in^3 to ft^3 conversion (12” * 12” *12”)
CID * RPM / 2 * VE / 1728 = ?

Vengeance Racing has ordered 4 so far, so they must like the results. Plus 30 RWHP/31.5 lb-ft torque with two mods, and no tuning!

0-120 mph with the Stinger-Hybrid
Everything stock, except the Halltech Stinger-Hybrid Cold Air Induction. Stock air fuel ratio, stock MAF transfer curve.
55 degrees, tires warm, first try at our local drag strip. This is an unmarked pass, but the 0-120, appears to be a pretty decent acceleration from our intake. Full disclosure: I played with the torque management to allow better throttle response, but the MAF transfer curve is bone stock as well as the PE/RPM. Added +2 degrees timing for our 93 Octane fuel here. Nothing else done. Traction was ok, but this was our one and only pass. On a warm day, 11.0s should be possible. Did 3.6 second 0-60 today validated by a Racelogic VBox. Full tank of fuel. 3.5 second with hot tires and low fuel should be pretty slick. Have not been able to repeat the 11.3 yet, but TC has me at grandma launches vs. stump pulling like the other day.
