This is true, but I believe the last 1000-hp dyno they ran was, indeed, on the stock bottom end.

This is the same car the engine was out a few weeks ago... Looking like built shortblock/heads & cam/YSI/Nitrous (roughly 125 shot?)... I could be wrong, just thinking out loud.
