How best to do a proper burnout with an A6
I tried searching the forum, but, could not find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Snorman, can you give me some advice? Thanks.

Scraping the splitter.
At the track or on the street?
Either way, turn off TC, hold the brake and stab the throttle. On the street, the tires may not initially spin. If so, just lurch the car a little bit by slightly releasing brake pedal pressure.
At the track, if possible, drive around the water box. Turn off TC. Back into the edge of the box. Foot on the brake, blip the throttle to turn over the tires in the water a few times. Pull forward, out of the water. Hold the brake, and give it some throttle. With the tires wet they should spin easily. Bring it up to ~5000-5500 rpm until you see smoke in the mirror out of the left rear wheelwell. Release the brake and start feathering off the throttle at the same time, driving out of the smoke until you feel the tires grab.
You can also put the car into manual shift mode and shift into 2nd during your burnout (after getting up to 5500 rpm or so). That'll give you more wheel speed and you can drive out of it a little sooner.
Good luck.

Both on the track and on the street. Thank you very much for your help, Spymaster and Snorman. I really appreciate it. I will try your suggestions as soon as I get the chance.
