Pretty strong words when there are R2 UG lambos and 2000whp GTR running around. I hope you plan on bringing over 1600hp

Look fwd to seeing it in person. This is my buddy and I's first TX2K event so we're pretty excited. Leaving the vette at home since we'll be carpooling with a few people.

Seriously? They didn't say they are going to go and beat everyone. I don't see any strong words.

Keep up the good builds.

+1

No way the vette can be in the competition unless AWD and DCT find their place on the C7 . I will put my all hope in the NEW 8 speed Z06. Actually I feel disappointed when I see many GTRs and Lambo with +1500 whp while there was no vette can stick with them

[QUOTE=Late Model Racecraft;1586347300]you'd be surprised

Dude! I appreciate the videos, but you would even faster if you didn't hang the cameras off the car! You could have probably picked another 30-40 MPH without them ......

OK-maybe 3-4 MPH......

Well maybe 0.3-0.4 MPH anyway.

We never stated we were going to BEAT every car that we line up against. We just want to build a car to compete and have fun doing it.
The Lamborghini/GTR guys have around a 10 year head start on us since we only started playing with this new platform months ago. Almost everything on this build is still in the R&D phase and most if not ALL parts still prototypes. Look forward to testing the limits of every aspect of this vehicle so we can find a way to better improve it just like we have been doing since the 97 LS1 Corvette first came out. You can see the results we accomplished with the video of the blue vette above.
