Would a C6 non Z51 rear brake caliper work? It gets complicated on the rear because of the integral parking brake.

The brake caliper/rotor is only half the problem. The upper and lower control arms are an issue. The car has a +78 or 79 offset which means it's tucking the majority of the wheel under the car. I had 11.5" wide 18" wheels on first and they barley rubbed over bumps. Swapped them to an 11" wide and they clear just fine. Only a wide diameter 18" will clear the UCA, thus the reason Welds etc won't work. In order to fit anything smaller, it would have to be VERY narrow and/or have an aftermarket UCA.

FWIW Norm Boutot's Z06 was running low 9s on motor and stock suspension with 18" wheels, so more sidewall would be nice but not an absolute necessity.

Would be curious on the price of this setup as I plan to have around 900whp in just a few weeks. I ran 15" wheels on my old 2010 camaro but always loved the 18" look.

Interested in seeing a squared set-up for these cars.

315s unless unusually narrow would be too wide on most x10" rims. That would be a lot of bulge and slopped sidewall. If you look at the Hoosier A6s for example their 315 is a x11-12" recommendation.

I've done a few sets of these already. I've reached out to get some pics of them for you guys!

They are stock OEM GM C5Z06 4x10.5" (all rear wheels). No install issues and no clearance issues. Also no spacers are required to run this setup.

Nitto NT05 315/35/17 fit on a 10" wide wheel without any real bulge.

A 10" wheel can hold a 315/35 just fine. A 315/30 or 315/25 might have issues.

Do you have thoughts about a "preferred" setup for track/road course driving? Have you tested same size x 4 for handling and turn-in characteristics? All opinions or experience welcomed.

We have two sets of 18x10 square setups out there with 305s all the way around. They were just delivered last month, so I'm not sure of any real world data yet. But, for tire wear and true 4 wheel rotation, it's the best way to go. These 18x10s only weigh 18lbs each as well!

Do the rears rub? Did you have to "massage" the inner fender wells at all?

A 28" tire is tall for the fender wells. No issues with the fender lips, but when loaded down on the dyno, they do scrub the fender liners directly behind the rear wheels where the lower hatch area is behind the trays. If you don't have big rear gears or 600+hp though you'll do just fine with the MT305s on these rims. Let me know if you want a set

What wheel and tire set up is this? This looks killer!

I did those for Dameian as well, they're the Forgeline ZX3Ps on M&H tires. Mine are the Forgeline GA3s on M&H tires.

Rear 18x11" wheels weigh 18lbs, fronts are 14lbs IIRC
