Carbotech brakes are made from compounds that offer higher initial bite, torque and fade resistance—providing consistent brake modulation and performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

From street use to the higher performance demands of track days, Carbotech brake pads help you achieve better brake modulation, torque and fade resistance.

Does anyone have experience/recommendations with Carbotech track day pads for a Z51 Stingray that do *not* squeal. I am all for getting track pads, but can't deal with the squealing that track pads often exhibit when doing daily driving on the streets. Thx!

You can get street pads and than swap to track pads. With Carbotech all their compounds are compatible with each other so all you would have to do is just swap pads and go.

I realize that, But per my original question I am looking at track pads I can leave on *all* the time...and which do *not* squeal on the street. If you have a suggested product, please let me know.
Also I am interested in hearing from end users firsthand on this, so if you are aware of links/posts where end user customers have answers, please post these as well! (I have looked through the forums but everyone seems to be swapping the track pads for OEM pads after the track day)

On top of that, track pads that you use on the street destroy your rotors if they are not up to optimum temperature on the street and that's why you have noise issues. Most track pads at optimum temperature are quiet.

Installed the 1521's today. Did all 4 wheels in under an hour and that's with jacking up each corner seperately and cleaning the wheels and calipers.
I hated having a spotless car with wheels that looked like the hadn't been cleaned in 5k miles and that was after about 50 miles. I had these on my C5 with CCW wheels and they were great!
BTW: DocHolliday (Matt) told me he left you a message to order a set for his car.
