Default 0-60 and 1/4 mile for the base

Now that a bunch of C7's are in owner's hands, is there any info on how the non-Z51 compares to the Z51 in 0-60 and 1/4 mile?

There's a bunch on different forum threads but you have to search for them. I just read one moments ago.

They are going to be virtually equal.

The base is a bit lighter, but has slightly taller gearing.

Z51 is just a handling package , as I predicted the Z51 would be any quicker in a straight line, I also predicted that the base might be a tad bit faster, which has been already proven , who cares about 0-60, nobody I know who actually races their car cares.

It hasn't yet been proven that the non-Z51 cars are quicker. I do, however, believe that a 1LT A6 car will be the choice for drag racing, but that's not yet proven.

I read about snorman's 11.49 I believe - but his is a Z51, unless someone else got 11.4 with a non-Z51?

I just found that thread, the car wasn't totally stock though so its a bit apples and oranges to compare it to a stock Z51.

No I'm not bipolar talking to my self lol I just quoted the wrong post

Correct, the torch red non-Z51 car had an LMR tune on it, while my car is bone stock.
I am pretty sure my car has an 11.3 in it. I'll going to try to get it back to Atco in the next week and cross my fingers.

Good luck! So sounds like from your experience the Z51 A6 is probably faster than the non-Z51? If you believe you can pull off an 11.3 that is, unless you also feel a non-Z51 is capable of 11.2.

The one thread,Achmed, and I apologize because I couldn't remember who posted it had a base non-Z51 video after he had a LRM tune. But he said he had turned 11.6 stock. Plus I don't think that car was a 1LT which is lighter. I agree with Snorman that the base 1LT A6 vettes should be a tick quicker stock than the Z51 A6. But that eDF seems to me to easily make up for traction issues better than the base rear which is exactly what I have on my C6. As Snorman said, "This thing feels like it'd hook even on wet grass." (paraphrase) The real point is just like the C6's the base vs the Z51's really despite gearing difference really depended on the driver.

the driver makes such a difference. I actually beat a z06 the other day. I have headers and a tune, so that obviously helps, but the z06 should have beat me since they have 550HP. I just drove better

A C6 Z06 has 505hp so with headers and a tune it's probably real close.
