Actually even better than I expected for sure. To be able to get one of these C7'S with an A6 and achieve even 11.9's out of the box is just what I've been waiting for.

Default Great sixty foot times

Great news for the c7a6. The question is the factors responsible for the improvement in 60 foot times and quarter mile times. The improvements in the 60 foot times are consistent with a smaller torque converter. Most c6a6 cars brake stall at about 2000-2100 and so far some posts indicate a brake stall of 2500. This could be a result of the higher low rpm torque from the variable cam timing. If so time slips from c6zo6 cars that had stock motors and converted to aftermarket a6 conversion should be nearly identical since gm indicates that the c7 and zo6 have identical torque output up to 4000 rpm. On the other hand time slips from c6a6 cars with a "small" yank torque converter might more closely resemble the postings for the c7a6 cars. Anyone care to post?

Well.......... That's a good question. Not really much out there far as forced induction at the moment. As much as I'd like to go the turbo route. I know I'll always be a nitrous man at heart. I'm thinking I'd like to see how far I can go with out destroying the car and how fast I can push the STOCK short block, transmission, rearend, and basically without taking the creature comforts away (the whole point of owning a Vette). Any body can cut a car up and install big cube motors, 4l80e/turbo400/ect. This car is a 3lt car with a good bit of options and I really don't want to take away any of them. Lol My last few vettes was base model 1lt cars and I'm enjoy the bells and whistles. Hahaha

Ps But LMR has got some plans and we are gonna see what we come up with. Stay tuned in. Lol

Tommy...I'd like to see what the car runs with more seat time as it sits right now.

I can't wait till we get our first cold snap down here. My cars run 2 tenths better in cool air. Can't wait to see how much his car picks up (if it is still stock).

I'd be happy to see how much faster it'll go with just a tune.

Do you think it had anything to do with torque management?

The 1.68 on 285 street tires is impressive...I remember when "rmsman" cut a 1.6x with stock torque converter NA geared C5 with similar power on a well prepped on 275/40r18 street tires I was impressed as well.

I don't think so because the car wasn't spinning.

The C7 is proving to be everything GM said it would be and more. I can only imagine with the future will bring with the Z performance versions. This car has some seriously scary potential!
A couple of naysayers are still around, but the majority of them have either moved on, or ordered c7's for themselves.

There are a couple tables in the Program that I adjusted that I KNOW helped the 60ft on this car. If I would have left it stock there is no way the car would have accelerated as quick as it did.

I would've too. But I got thinking. Burn these 700 dollar tires off trying to get a tenth or two better time. Or put that 700 plus more towards some go fast parts and fly. I gotta step it up and fast. Lol

Dont hold your breath on the awd. I could care less for my own self if they offer a dct or not in the future. For those who arent ****** and want the dct, I hope GM offers it for them. For the ******, I hope you never see dct's.

Are you really comparing a C6 ZR1 to a C7

Guess you haven't driven both yet

I have driven a golf cart, a Yugo, and my Mommy and Daddy's riding lawn mower. Clearly I'm speaking from a wealth of experience.

Stick an average driver in both cars, and they will be faster in an A6 C7.
