Default Snorman runs 1/4 in 11.6 @ 120 in C7 (ATCO, NJ)

11.67 @ 119.7 to be exact.

Hello my little friend called the Naysayer.

I actually saw the one pass.

bone stock C7, Z51, A6 with MSRC and NPP.

It only went 11.67 at 119.7 mph. And if I'm not mistaken, every single pass there is quicker than the #1 car on the C6 LS3 "Fast List". The third pass I listed is against my buddy's '13 GT500 on DR's. He was a little quicker, but I got him at the tree. The RT (and I don't typically worry about that during T&T and rentals) on the fourth pass shown is off because I was re-setting the 0-60 accelerometer to compare it to Vbox data. Incidentally, it went a 3.60 0-60 on that pass, compared to a 3.8 on the DIC display.

I made 7 passes. Note that the car ran 11.6x both at around 10:30 am and again at 1:39 pm. It had a pretty decent (~45 minute) cooldown both times. The hot-lapped passes were 11.70's.
Slowest pass of the day was when I tried launching with some rpm (~2000) off the footbrake, it didn't seem to like it and only ran an 11.807 at 118.15 on a 1.758 60'. The car simply likes the convertor to be flashed on the 2nd yellow and that's it. It ran consistently from lane to lane and I had it in "Tr" and let it shift automatically. Next time out I'll play with manual shifting, which may result in even quicker times as I think the car could stretch out the 1-2 and 2-3 shift points a bit. I ran it once in "S" mode, and it went 11.780 at 118.92 on a 1.771 60'. I'm not sure if that was an anomaly but that will be some more experimenting during future track days.

It'll go faster. I had one-notch below a 1/2 tank of fuel and I weigh ~230. Put a 160# driver in, run it around 1/8 tank, wait for some better temps and an A6 car is going to go 11.3-.4. Mark my words.

Hopefully it wasn't the last one. That one was 'only' an 11.78 at 118.9 mph.

Haha yeah. It was warming up like you said though in the afternoon.

Mid to late this week it will be in the 40s by 7pm... maybe get a -200 or a bit lower DA, and a bit cooler temps. Definitely 11.3's in that car!

Was this on the stock tires? Crazy good 60 foot times and to beat your friends 60 foot time by 3 tenths while you were on stock tires is just crazy! Of course he should be doing better than 2.0 60 foots on DRs.
Nicely done sir!

Appears the day started off in the negatives for DA and peaked around 400 for the last run?

WOW!! Now those are the numbers I would expect out of the C7 Stingray. Well done!! It's official the C7 LT1 is faster than the C6 LS3. But shouldn't be any surprise there.

Awesome!

Can't wait to see how the A6 vs M7 times vary as more and more slips come in.

As I said in the OP, these cars are going to do nothing but get faster.
Atco didn't have a negative DA when I ran, not even close. They started running around 10 and I made my first pass at 10:30. Also, it ran an 11.6x in ~400' DA.
Expect to see ~11.3-.4 A6 cars. I also think that the M7 cars are going to trap higher due to less driveline loss and lower weight, but won't be quite as efficient getting down the track. I've drag raced lots of manual transmission cars, including 11.3 in my bone stock '13 GT500, 10.0 in my '03 Cobra, 9.8 in my '98 Viper, etc. and would love to have a day with one. Based on how these cars hook, I'm pretty sure they're going to go mid-11's too.
