Dyno Testing Stock C7 Corvette Stingray at Hennessey
I know others have posted baseline dyno results. Just wanted to show how consistent the C7 is on the dyno.
Got our first 2014 Chevy C7 Corvette Stingray in the shop a few days ago. Performing baseline chassis dyno testing on this car which is equipped with Z51 and 3LT packages. This car has an automatic transmission and is running on 93 octane. It has 22 miles on the odometer. Baseline track testing and modification videos coming very soon. Stay tuned.

modern rings and the super smooth hone on the cyl liners don't need much breakin from what I know. they now use synth oil from the get go and the engines are designed for it.
bearings and valve guides and rotating assembly gets acquainted very quickly and the tolerance are MUCH more precise than the old days
I'd still like to see 500 or so miles, but honestly, it's more of a comfort thing than and engineering necessity. it's more about letting the diff and rest of the drive train break in more so than then engine.
