Introducing the WEAPON-X Billet LT4 Supercharger Lids!
The WEAPON❌ Billet LT4 Supercharger Lid is ready to release to the public!
https://weaponxmotorsports.com/produ...billet-lt4-lid
We've been working on this project in the background this year and we're making these right here in Cincinnati, OH. This replaces the factory supercharger lid on GM LT4 Superchargers for a quick and clean install and reuses the OEM gaskets. This is made from T6061 billet and not only makes that glorious supercharger whine MUCH louder when you're on the throttle, but is also contoured internally to improve boosted airflow reducing internal temperatures and allowing increases up to 25HP! It can also be machined so you can add nitrous and/or water methanol injection systems later if desired.
The Design: Striped or Smooth
We loved both designs, so we decided to make them both... it's just one operation deleted on our mill with the stripes being pocketed or not. Personally, I love the striped look, but to each their own
WXM Billet LT4 Striped Lid
WXM Billet LT4 Smooth Lid
The Finsih: Raw, Black Anodized, or Black Ice PVD (Black Chrome)
We'll have more pics soon of the latter two, but I'm very eager to see the Black Ice as it's the finish on my ZR1 wheels in my signature pic below!
We're running and shipping these weekly as the first three are going out the door now. So, get in line quick if you want one.

Very nice! I'm certainly interested, but wondering if you could provide more details; Is the "up to +25hp" gain based upon this new lid alone, or are there other requirements, such as a tune or other bolt-ons to achieve the "25hp"?
For example, if I only have an AFE CAI & Corsa X-pipe that I purchased from you, will I see the noted +25 hp gain on my 17 Z06, or would I need a tune on top of these items to see said gains, or perhaps see more with these items?
Thanks and best regards!

Could you please provide a picture of this lid in the black ice finish?
I assume this lid will only fit 2015 and 2016 corvettes?
Thanks.

As a '19 Z06 owner, I'm confident there's a "GM LT4 Supercharger" under the hood.

Based upon the discussiin above requiring a move to the 17-19 hoodliner, this is a "no go" for me, as my 16 has a custim aurbrushed mural painted on the hoodliner.
I am not willing to give up my current headliner.

Thanks for your condescending reply. I'll wait for @Ben@WeaponX to confirm their "LT4 Supercharger Lid," advertised as a replacement for "the factory supercharger lid on GM LT4 Superchargers" really "only fits 2015 and 2016 corvettes."
As a '19 Z06 owner, I'm confident there's a "GM LT4 Supercharger" under the hood.

And your welcome for the condescending reponse from me. That was only responding to your tone in the response you gave me, as if my question was a stupid one. The only thing stupid was not knowing that all z06's have the LT4, there is taller supercharger lid on 17-19s (and why), and that a new insulator was used on17-19's for the increase in height of the supercharger lid. The height of the hood itself did not change.
