Default C7 Roof Panel

I have a new 2015 GMAC Roof Panel off a C7/Z06/ Z07. It was extra and has been in storage. Not sure why the car came with two but I have only used the carbon fiber one. This one looks black but you can see out of it.
Looks new to me. Never been on car only in trunk.

$1500 shipped to lower 48.

Thank you, Robb

Default Transparent roof panel

Your car was ordered with what is called the "duel roof option".
Meaning two roof panels. One carbon fibre and the other transparent or "clear" roof panel.

Lots of guys will be interested in the transparent roof.

You might want to check the "market" price for the roof panel I think you are a bit high on your asking price.

Just put mouse cursor over the 1 to the right of the figure in the box to see the clear top price.

There are three "1"s and 2 of them don't have pricing. Are they the same price as the other or the price is NA?

And those 2 are they dual panel transparent? it doesn't say.

But have been looking for the regular transparent panel, dealer wants 1100 bucks! might get it or might wait for a used cheaper one. thanks for the link

FYI people, the COMPLETE transparent roof is around $1600 to 2100 new. You can also purchase just the transparent panel that goes in the roof. Note this is NOT a complete roof that interchanges with the one currently on your car. I suspect the one in the link above is not a complete roof and is just the panel OR is the panel and frame without all the parts, like the latches, weather stripping etc. Just the latches alone would cost you $430. By the time you have a complete roof it will be way more than buying the complete roof already assembled and ready to put on.

Here is an example of a complete roof .... http://www.trunkmonkeyparts.com/oe-gm/84141731
Here is the correct part for the link posted above http://www.cultragfactoryparts.com/oe-gm/84141731

As I said highlight the one to the right side of the picture that shows the complete top.

The figure related to the 1 shows all of the parts for the top as a package. If it is like other things in the GM Parts list that should indicate the price for a complete top and the printing says it is transparent. I don't know about part number 84141731. I went to the parts catalog and followed the drop downs until I came to that drawing and price list.

The parts department doesn't sell the dual tops you only get those as a RPO C2Q on the car. You have to order each top separately from the parts department.

That only includes the parts in the large square, the transparent panel and the frame as well as 2 pins. It DOESN'T include all the parts outside the square. Those parts that are not included are required to put that roof on the car. If you buy the item you listed (part 1) it will not have weather stripping, latches, handles, pins and other misc hardware required to install your stripped roof. To then purchase those parts to complete the roof would cost an additional $1253.14. Plese note 2 of the parts are not in stock. You don't have to believe me, you can buy one and find out for yourself.

I just purchased a Complete transparent roof assembly from one of the 2 links I posted about and it cost me $1600 delivered to my door. It took 4 minutes to change because I took my time.

OP here is a suggestion you might want to consider. You have it listed on ebay for $1800 with free shipping. After ebay fees and paypal fees, you will get about $1500. The shipping will cost you about $100-150, making your total somewhere around $1350 to $1400. List the thing for $1000-1400 on here and it will sell immediately. Again, just a suggestion!

Yes you could basically do that however you will likely need $350 worth of weather stripping to finish it. So $840 + $350 = $1190, Why bother? You are left with a roof you can't easily use and no one else will want. Spend $1600 new and have both roofs that change in minutes OR sell the original factory roof to offset the cost. Even if you got a free damaged roof to fix, it still almost isn't worth it.

You can transfer parts. You do not need extra weather stripping.
If you have a damaged roof with all the parts, it is definitely worth it. I got the panel in figure box 1 for about $6xx and transferred the hardware, weatherstripping (on a metal rail that unscrews, not glued in) in about 20 minutes. New top for $6xx.

That is good info, I was unsure if it was one of those items that once put on you have to destroy to remove.
