That is incorrect. The price from GM is 895.00.
FOR THE GLASS TOP ONLY no frame hardware, etc. totally different deal. Yes they do sell the glass separately in the event of glass damage. The top assembly is (retail) over 2k.

And all the hardware necessary to build a working top is somewhere around 700 plus tax or shipping.

Average used selling price $1100
I paid $1100 for mine and most have sold for about that. They will come down over time just like the C6 did, $700-750.
That all said buy or sell for what you can. Free market.
