Default Ticking noise

Hello I just became apart of the corvette family with my c7 stingray, recently I have been hearing a ticking noice as well as a rattling noise from 1000-2000rpm. There is also a lag from when I press the gas initially from 0.

I have been doing some research and the most plausible conclusion would be the beginning stages of lifter failure.

I already took it in and they replaced the belt tensioner but I am still hearing the rattling and having the engine lag problems.

any help would be appreciated!

I go to the local dealer and the service mgr. will listen and get the vette tech involved. Make friends with them.

Go to a different mechanic. Even an idiot can start replacing parts and not fix the issue. Did they give you the old part? Was the tensioner bad?

It's the VETTE TAX. They see us coming. Same engine in different car, different diagnosis.
