This defines the model as a Stingray Z51 for mine:

I can't post the pic of mine but it says basically the same for my 2016 coupe. Says 2016 Stingray Z51 Coupe. And there is not Z51 pkg in the options list. It's listed as a standard item and NPP was standard for a 2016 Z51.

Here is what it says.

PACKAGE · Z51 Performance Package includes performance brakes, Black-painted calipers, slotted brake rotors, dry sump oil system, Z51 performance suspension, specific shocks, springs and stabilizer bars, performance exhaust, P245/35ZR19 front and P285/30ZR20 rear tires, Silver-painted aluminum, 19" front and 20" rear wheels, performance gear ratios, Electronic Limited Slip Differential , rear differential cooler, transmission cooling and an Aero Package

Just type in Corvettemuseum.org in your search bar. Once there you can click on “shop” and it’ll take you to their store where you can order what you want. You’ll just need your model year and vin # to order a window sticker or build sheet. If I recall, you get a better deal if you purchase both together.

Z51 is a package. Not a model.

Looking for that official GM window sticker that say Z51 as a model, that seems to be a re-work done by whoever is selling the auto. No delivery dealer name written, and way too much typed info.

That's a custom made window sticker that dealers or whomever order from Monroney Labels, a private business that prints custom made window stickers not associated with GM.

Normally those are made because they don't have the original window sticker from the factory and will take some license to reword what they want it to say.

No registered trademark (Chevy bowtie), no fuel tax consumption figures, no where it's shipped from, etc.

While I agree, Z51 is a package. just like a Z28 Camaro or a Z71 Silverado, on the RPO pricing sheet, you have to choose whether or not you want a Z51 before you go any further and add options. At least in 2014. The lines are a little blurry.

It may say that, but is the Z51 a model? Is there an official GM badge like Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, ZR1, that adorns the car?

I know I'm convinced there isn't a model, some are not, their choice. We can beat that dead horse all day long, as long as you're happy with your car, you can call it anything you want.

In the state of Michigan, the fee for your plates is based on the sticker price, not including options. You could have 20k worth of options but you are not charged,.
So, ,Michigan considers a Z51 as a model, not a package because a Corvette with a Z51 is not listed with the options, but as a base sticker cost before options.
In other words , the fee for a Z51 is more then the base model.

Yes, I'm sure other states can play with the numbers for their tax/registration/fee purposes, the question remains, from an official GM standpoint, is there a Z51 model? I believe not.

The 2014 Window Sticker above proves that at least in 2014,the Z51 was a model. There is no option package listed for Z51 on that sticker.

The same as on the 2016 Z51. Sticker says it all. Z51 is not listed on the options list.

So, in the sales brochure, they show a Z51 as a package for 2014:

Whereas the 2017 brochure lists three distinct models with the Z51 as well as the Z07 as performance packages:

Everyone knows a sticker on the car is always the last word.
It takes preference over any sales brochure that may include mistakes. .

There were 4 prices/4 rpo codes/units built for each, available for 2014 Corvettes: those with z51 package were not charged for the z51 option.

2014 Corvette Factory Options
PRICE

Stingray Coupe 11134 $51,195

Stingray Coupe w/Z51 15431 $54,795

Stingray Convertible 5043 $56,995

Stingray Convertible w/Z51 5680 $59,795

i ordered the combo window sticker/build sheet thru ncm & am extremely disappointed in the package that was delivered.

mines an a6 w/paddle shifters, yet rpm matching is listed in the window sticker. the build sheet shows less info than running a vin check here at corvetteforum.

if i had it to do over, i wouldn't have made the buy from ncm!!
thanks for reading!!

I believe the logic at work here is the window sticker lists standard equipment. Your A6 option precludes the availability of the standard equipped 7-speed.

The sticker for our 2015 A8 also lists rev matching.
