Anyone got louvers on their C7?
I know it's a love-em, hate-em type opinion and I like them. Been shopping for a C7 and you don't see a lot of them with louvers.
If you have them what are your experience with them on a C7?
Have them on just the back or on the side-quarters too?
Pro's and cons, that sort of thing. Looks like there are quite a few different styles out there.

Back in the day, I had louvers on my '79 Trans Am. I liked the look and don't recall any issues other than cleaning the window. Having said that, I feel louvers that I'm familiar with are more suited to body styles like the Camaro or Mustang. Although, I haven't researched the latest versions of louvers. There may be louvers that are designed specifically to fit the sleek lines of a sports car such as the Corvette C7.

My vote goes to the first louver picture. If I were in the market, that's the look that I would want. The side window louvers kind of blend with the rear window louver. It presents a complete look. I like it.

1 and 4 would be my choices, but I really do not think I would put louvers on a C7.

As with all things 80s, a big thumbs up for louvers from David Hasselhoff! Finish the look with a nice Members Only jacket and you will be the hit of the Corvette Show circuit.

I did have them on my 1984 Firebird TransAm along with the front black bra (and the leather jacket) on the nose lol Only lasted about a month and took them both off 😂

Please leave the louvers to the Ford and Mopar crowd!! The C7 is a damn sexy and beautiful car as is, putting on louvers absolutely ruins it and is so cheeseball! It's as bad as guys who put $8000 wheels on a $2000 Honda Civic, makes no sense!

Most of the time I saw them on Mustangs. However, I did own a black Members Only jacket so i am making fun of my 80s self as well.

Based on what I have been able to learn, the louvers have to be stuck on with double sided tape. If that's accurate, that's a deal breaker for me. Back in the day, rear windows came with a metal trim around the perimeter of the window. The louver was secured by flanges that went under the trim.

I saw a C7 with the full set with sides like the gloss black one.. on a blacked out C7 in person they look pretty mean. Not sure they would look as cool on a color other than black. It's your ride tho' FTW and do what you like.. so many carbon copies of each other.. different is great!
